Most campus counseling is free or very low cost for enrolled students. Don't let cost concerns stop you from seeking help.
Your conversations are confidential. Counselors cannot share what you say without your permission, with very limited legal exceptions.
Don't wait until crisis. Reaching out early — even for stress or general anxiety — is the most effective time to get support.
After-hours options exist. Most campus counseling centers have 24/7 phone lines for urgent support outside business hours.
Peer support matters. Many campuses have trained peer counselors who can provide a first point of contact and help you navigate services.
Ask about accommodations. If mental health is affecting your academics, disability services can arrange extensions, note-taking help, and more.
